WebI just bought steam ark thinking I can play with my xbox friend; $35 down the drain. What made you think that? Its pretty damn well common knowledge. Ark UWP (Win10/xbox) and PS4 run the console version. Then theres switch version. Then the proper full PC version on steam. All three are different versions of the game so cross play isnt possible.
