WebJan 9, 2024 · I used to compile the 32 bit kernel on my 32 bit virtual machine successfully. but the time of compiling on a virtual machine is costly. so i decided to compile it on the 64 bit machine. And i had set the make-kpkg parameter like this: sudo make-kpkg --initrd kernel_image -j10 --arch i386 --cross-compile "" Web# 1) Generate bounds.h: bounds-file:= include/generated/bounds.h: always:= $(bounds-file) targets:= kernel/bounds.s # We use internal kbuild rules to avoid the "is up to date" message from make: kernel/bounds.s: kernel/bounds.c FORCE $(Q) mkdir -p $(dir $@) $(call if_changed_dep,cc_s_c) $(obj) / $(bounds-file): kernel/bounds.s FORCE
