WebFeb 8, 2024 · The base stations are not connected to the pc, they do have to be plugged into wall outlets though. The base stations basically flood the room with non-visible light that is detected by the headset and used to determine its location and orientation in relation to the base station(s). I have not actually set it up yet, just read about it.
