WebMay 15, 2013 · My generator is a 2008 vintage 5416 (16/18 kW). I'd like to visually inspect the slip rings and brushes if that doesn't take a lot of disassembly. The diagnostic repair manual doesn't seem to describe what it takes to get at these parts short of major disassembly. What can y'all tell me about getting a good look at these parts? Thanks.
