When I took that out, it sounded lots better - no surprise there. Was also an easy fix on one of the speaker connections. A guy was selling a pristine Fender Squier Series Strat and this amp for $125 on CL, where it sat for weeks. I offered him $100 for the Strat alone and he threw in the amp! I guess other buyers saw the "Squier" and didn't look close enough.
