Webb25 feb. 2009 · The vent is designed to have a rubber hose and a breather on top, to deal with the changing volume of the rear end oil as the temp and pressure change. If the fitting in the axle is busted, or the hose has a hole (kind of lower down), oil will leak out, it is totally normal. Happend to me for months until I fixed it.
