Web29 May 2024 · Battletech is definitely great but in my opinion the strategic layer does not reach the peaks of WOTC or Phoenix Point. The layer is fun, it's certainly much better than Gears (which has nothing) but it's not as in-depth although of course the mech customization is very fun.
